Scope
Interior Design

The Great Escape demonstrates how contemporary interior design can elevate one of the most successful long-range yacht platforms on the market. Built by Mangusta as part of the acclaimed Oceano 44 series, the yacht combines expedition capability with sophisticated residential interiors by H2 Yacht Design, creating an environment that feels calm, spacious and effortlessly luxurious.

Working closely with Overmarine Group, H2 Yacht Design developed an interior concept inspired by the natural colours and textures of the coastline. Soft sandy tones, warm teak, polished marble and subtle blue accents create a serene atmosphere throughout, while bespoke finishes and carefully selected materials reinforce the yacht's understated elegance.

Designed around a contemporary 'Loft Concept', the interiors maximise openness and natural light through a cohesive material palette and uncluttered architectural forms. Rich timbers, tactile finishes and flowing layouts create a seamless transition between the yacht's social spaces, delivering a highly liveable environment that feels both luxurious and welcoming.

Accommodation is provided for 12 guests across five spacious staterooms, complemented by generous social areas designed for extended cruising and entertaining. Expansive glazing enhances the connection with the surrounding seascape, while every interior detail has been carefully considered to balance functionality with refined craftsmanship.

The exterior lifestyle is equally impressive. A spectacular 104-square-metre sundeck, expansive beach club with unfolding sea terraces, and two infinity pools provide exceptional spaces for relaxation and entertaining. The signature forward pool, known as 'The Island', creates a unique lounge environment where guests are surrounded by water while enjoying uninterrupted panoramic views.

With The Great Escape, H2 Yacht Design delivers a contemporary interior that perfectly complements Mangusta's Oceano platform, demonstrating how thoughtful design, exceptional craftsmanship and residential comfort continue to shape the next generation of luxury explorer-style superyachts.
