Andromeda

Few explorer yachts have reshaped expectations quite like Andromeda. Built by Norwegian shipyard Kleven, the 107-metre vessel was engineered to venture where few private yachts can, combining ice-class capability, exceptional endurance and commercial-grade engineering with the comforts of a luxury residence at sea.

For H2 Yacht Design, the challenge was not simply to create a beautiful interior, but to soften the character of an uncompromising expedition platform. The result is a relaxed yet eclectic design language that replaces the utilitarian feel often associated with explorer yachts with light timbers, natural fabrics and contemporary detailing, creating spaces that feel warm, elegant and unmistakably residential.

Throughout the yacht, generous volumes are organised around comfort and practicality for extended life on board. Large lounges, inviting guest accommodation and thoughtfully connected social spaces are flooded with natural light, ensuring the interior feels calm and welcoming whether cruising through tropical waters or exploring remote polar landscapes.

Known as "the toughest toybox on the water," Andromeda was conceived to carry an extraordinary collection of tenders, aircraft, submarines and expedition equipment, allowing owners and guests to experience the world's most inaccessible destinations without compromising on luxury. It is this rare combination of extreme capability and refined liveability that sets the yacht apart within the modern explorer sector.

The project highlights H2 Yacht Design's ability to create bespoke interiors that respond not only to a yacht's architecture but also to the owner's lifestyle.
