SCOUT Returns from Sea Trials

The 63.72m (209ft) SCOUT, featuring both rugged exterior styling and a carefully engineered interior by H2 Yacht Design, recently returned from sea trials in The Netherlands, bringing with it exemplary results.

Captured by photographer Ben Rotsap upon her successful return, Hakvoort Shipyard’s largest project to date left the Monnickendam facilities after attaching key superstructure elements; moving through IJmuiden and out to the open ocean for sea trials.

While outfitting continues on this highly-secretive vessel, the interiors – inspired by the romantic era of cinema – will set SCOUT aside in terms of onboard experience, while her exteriors – sporting distinctive sheers and signature carved bow section – hint at a long list of exciting voyages ahead.

Designed to cruise in total comfort and autonomy across a range of 4,800 nautical miles with up to eight guests on board, SCOUT is now preparing for delivery and we look forward to bringing you more details as the final phases of completion take place.
