The key areas identified were the master suite, main saloon/dining and sundeck/flybridge. These areas would need to be more impressive than other yachts within the same class and with some clever distribution of space we were able to achieve spaces similar to that of a 45m+ yacht. Based on this Andreika was designed from the inside out and every valuable millimetre that could be claimed for the guest interior was extracted over the 50 revisions of the GA to follow.
If you study the GA closely you begin to see how this had paid off; 12 guests, 5 crew, 2 dining areas and 4 lounging areas have been produced. This is all with service in mind with a centrally positioned galley that has direct access to the flybridge stairs and main deck areas from 2 separate doors.
Particular attention was paid to all stairs on the yacht and these are very gentle to navigate, helping to connect the areas even better. The real challenge arises in making all of the guest cabins feel equal whilst providing enough storage and this was not overlooked in any of the spaces. Whilst only 32m the GA should be commended for achieving the expanse of space on the flybridge. This area has to be experienced and the owner had a very worth vision for this space.
The interior design is inspired by clean residential lines but with the lighting details and well thought out joinery connections associated with a superyacht interior.
The decision was made to keep the design consistent throughout with subtle changes and from this the final palette eventuated: Bulkheads and ceiling details are finished in tabu fine engineered veneer with horizontal ‘planking and shadowgap’ detail. Leather occupies remaing bulkheads and ceilings to add a softness and contrast to the veneer. Detailing throughout is with fine black brushed bronze and is only ever used delicately in panel gaps and frames. All fittings are matt black finished to compliment the details with architectural door hardware from ‘Formani’ and matching tapware from ‘Dornbracht.’ Engineered flooring is from ‘Mafi’and provides a gentle patterned texture under foot.
