Bringing the H2 Design Experience Ashore at the Fairmont Monte Carlo

Our ambition was to recreate the feeling of stepping aboard one of our custom designed superyachts. Inspired by the sea and the seamless relationship between exterior and interior design, the installation brings together the forms, materials and craftsmanship that define every H2 Design project—offering a glimpse into the journey behind some of the world’s most exceptional yachts.

At the heart of the display sits the Voyage Concept, representing H2 Yacht Design’s exterior design expertise. Available in 57m, 65m and 80m, with three or four deck arrangements, Voyage has been developed around proven engineering platforms, allowing owners to benefit from a faster design and engineering process while retaining the freedom to create a fully bespoke yacht. The concept reflects H2’s philosophy of combining timeless exterior design with shipyards’ engineering to deliver exceptional new build superyachts.

Encapsulating the Voyage Concept is an exploration of H2’s award-winning interior design approach. Every project begins with an owner’s vision with carefully curated mood boards and an exceptional palette of materials, bringing together craftsmanship, innovation and timeless elegance to create spaces that are uniquely tailored to each owner. The installation invites visitors to experience this process firsthand through the textures, finishes and detailing that define life on board an H2 designed yacht.

Bringing this vision to life has been a truly collaborative effort, made possible through the expertise of several of our partners.

At the heart of many H2 interiors is beautifully crafted joinery by Cantu Contract, whose bespoke cabinetry combines traditional Italian craftsmanship with contemporary manufacturing to create elegant, highly tailored spaces. Edition Bougainville showcases its handcrafted, made-to-measure carpets, bringing warmth, texture and individuality to every interior, while Foglizzo contributes its world-renowned luxury leathers, celebrated throughout the superyacht industry for their beauty, durability and exceptional quality.

As a backdrop to the display, completing the material palette, Miscimasci  presents an exquisite selection of Italian fabric, adding comfort and sophistication through bespoke curtains and decorative textiles. Meanwhile, Dacryl has created a bespoke architectural finish inspired by the movement of bubbles beneath the sea. Combining crystal-like transparency with remarkable strength and lightness, the installation captures the ever-changing play of light across the water while showcasing the innovative finishes increasingly found aboard today’s most sophisticated superyachts.

A continuously changing digital gallery of H2’s latest projects provides the finishing touch to the installation. Featuring a carefully curated collection of photography and video, the display allows visitors to experience the completed yachts behind the materials and concepts on show—bringing together H2’s award-winning exterior yacht design, bespoke superyacht interiors, and the exceptional craftsmanship that defines every project. As the portfolio continues to evolve, so too will the stories shared through the installation, ensuring there is always something new to discover.

Together, the installation tells the complete H2 story: a studio that designs extraordinary yachts inside and out, without a signature house style. Every project begins with an owner’s vision and is realised through exceptional design, world-class craftsmanship and trusted partnerships.
