At 54.7 metres, Sequel P is a sister ship to Talisman C. With its proven hull providing uncompromising stability, seaworthiness and economy.

H2’s design demonstrates pleasing exterior lines and an elegant Art Deco - inspired interior, reflecting the owners well defined brief. Horsfield says, “The owner’s were extremely clear and precise in their requirements and instructions to me, being such experienced yacht owners.

Their taste was for a relaxing, relatively conservative design that was to be timeless, functional and hard wearing enough for a busy chartering season.

On the lower deck we introduced a rippled sycamore with a walnut accent to keep it light in feel with Art Deco accents throughout. On the main deck makore wood is used which is a lovely straight grained veneer with an intense warm colour which was contrasted against quite contemporary furniture and fabrics. The owner’s large modern artwork also acts as a calming focal point. Strong lighting was installed throughout the interior as the owner wished to avoid the dark, gloomy feel of many modern interiors! Where possible, we utilised local supply marbles with imported fabrics and furniture selected from around the world.”

In terms of accommodation, besides the superb master suite and adjacent VIP cabin (which converts to a study/massage room/children’s room) all four luxurious cabins are equally well-appointed to appeal to a wide variety of charter guests. The views pour in through full height windows in the open-plan main saloon and formal dining area, the master suite, the VIP cabin and the sky lounge. Such a harmonious result suggests, accurately, that the design process was a pleasurable and creative collaboration for owners and designer.

The exterior areas have been custom designed for flexible arrangements for various occasions, with removable tables and interchangeable tops. The main aft deck has been kept simple with coffee tables and built-in seating. The upper aft deck has a multifunctional table arrangement that can be converted for both dining and coffee table use. The owner’s deck areas have been kept clear of tenders and toys to maximise the use for guests. The huge sun deck incorporates a jacuzzi, sun beds and dining areas.
